About
Dr. Ashvy

Healing people was always in my destiny….
so it felt natural to train as a doctor and become a GP.
But this traditional allopathic journey, where every ill was met with a pill, left me feeling dejected and more like a drug dealer than a healer. I wanted to leave medicine!
What made it worse was that despite being a doctor, a GP, a personal trainer and a nutritionist, I was floored with health issues myself. I was super obese, had PCOS, pre-diabetes, foot, knee and back issues, acidity, anxiety and depression.
Life was pretty dark

Two years later; everything started to change for the better.
I went on Masterchef (the cookery show), qualified as a nutritionist and personal trainer, started the 35kg weight loss journey, moved to Australia and in 2014 became a mum.
It was then that I discovered Functional Medicine and finally began addressing the root causes of my own health challenges. As my health improved, I started helping others uncover and address the root causes of chronic health problems too.
Life became wonderful!
"None of my qualifications ever helped get to the root cause of mine OR my patients issues to create a permanent fix "
Many people were improving their nutrition, movement, sleep, and environment, yet still weren’t achieving true root-cause healing.
The more I worked with patients, and continued my own healing journey, the more I saw the profound impact that stress, trauma, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences can have on physical health.
Today, my holistic clinic combines integrative functional medicine with my signature N.E.E.S.H. framework, blending nutritional science, movement, and a deeper exploration of the emotional and behavioural patterns that influence physical health.
More recently, this has included training in Reiki and becoming a certified Heal Your Life® coach.
I truly believe we have the capacity to change and heal from within: lasting health comes from addressing the whole person.
over time, I realised there was still one piece of the puzzle missing.

Many people were improving their nutrition, movement, sleep, and environment, yet still weren't achieving the health they wanted.
The more I worked with patients, and continued my own healing journey, the more I saw the profound impact that stress, trauma, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences can have on physical health.
More recently, this has included training in Reiki and becoming a certified Heal Your Life® coach.
Because lasting health comes from addressing the whole person.
Today, my work combines functional medicine, the N.E.E.S.H. framework, and deeper exploration of the emotional and behavioural patterns that influence health.
Sophie's Story

When Sophie and I first met, she was at the lowest point in her life.
Her eczema had become so severe that she hadn't felt comfortable showing her bare arms or legs for years, and it was affecting far more than just her skin.
She was about to go on immunosurpressants and she was petrified
It had started to shape how she saw herself and how she showed up in the world. After years of creams, prescriptions and temporary fixes, she was being advised to consider stronger immune-suppressing medication. That was the point she decided there had to be another way. Rather than focusing solely on her skin, we started by exploring the emotional side of her health. We worked on stress, past experiences, self-worth and the deeper patterns that had been driving her body for years. It wasn't a quick fix, and it certainly wasn't the easiest part of the journey, but it proved to be one of the most important. Gradually her skin began to heal, but what moved me most was seeing her confidence return. For the first time in years, she felt comfortable in her own skin, both physically and emotionally. Sophie's story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes the symptom we can see is only a small part of the story.
